Each state publishes its registry on its own schedule and several run weeks behind. Texas posts to its public feed on roughly a three week lag, for example. We publish a month only once the state's own publishing has run past the end of it, so an upstream delay never shows up here as a drop in business formation. Each state page lists the exact date its data is settled through.
One row per filed entity: LLCs, corporations, professional entities such as PLLCs and PCs, limited partnerships and LLPs. The exact set of entity types each state publishes differs, so these totals are not a like-for-like ranking between states. They are registration records, not surveys, and not a measure of how many businesses go on to trade.
AlphaLeads delivers every one of these filings as a daily CSV, 24 to 72 hours after it reaches the registry. Used by insurance agents, accountants, agencies and B2B sales teams who want to reach an owner in their first week. From $89 per month, with a free 25-record sample.
